Siding.

Installation, replacement, and storm repairs. When the roof or gutters are part of the job, the scope says how that work fits together.

Before the work · Know what to discuss

Plan the wall, the trim and the transitions.

Siding decisions affect the whole exterior. A useful conversation covers the wall areas in scope, the look you want and how the work meets windows, doors, roof edges and gutters. Bring inspiration photos, but confirm the exact products in the proposal.

Choose a material and a profile

James Hardie, LP, Royal and Versetta Stone are different product families, not interchangeable specifications. Discuss the material, profile, color and trim that suit the project. A gallery image helps explain a look; it does not establish the product installed on your home.

Make the boundaries clear

Identify each wall or elevation included and any areas that remain. Ask how existing trim, openings and accessories will be handled. For a partial repair, discuss visible differences between existing and replacement material.

Coordinate adjoining work

If windows, gutters or roofing are also planned, discuss the sequence before starting. Ask how concealed conditions found after removal will be documented and approved. Keep product selections and scope changes together for reference.

Questions

Straight answers.

Still unsure? Call (847) 730-4026 — or send a request below and we’ll call you.

It can be. An inspection documents what we see; your insurer decides what is covered under your policy.

Sometimes. Older or discontinued colors and profiles can be hard to match; we’ll show you options and explain any differences before work starts.

Not always. Small damaged areas can sometimes be repaired; we’ll explain when that makes sense and when it doesn’t.

Send the property address and describe the affected walls. Photos taken safely from the ground can help show cracked panels, open joints, or other visible changes.

The scope should identify the wall areas, the proposed work, and the selected materials. Product and installation details should match the specific project.
